The Best Seat in the House: Addison Kaboomtown from Our Office Parking Lot

There’s something magical about Addison Kaboomtown, and this year, I got to experience it from a whole new perspective. My day started at Addison Circle Park, where the energy was electric—neighbors and friends gathered, laughter echoed through the air, and the aroma of dinner mingled with the anticipation of the legendary airshow. For hours, we soaked in the sights and sounds, catching up with familiar faces and making new memories as planes soared overhead.

But as the sun dipped below the horizon, my real estate team—Autumn, Colton, and I—made our way to what I now consider the best view in town: our office parking lot at 4341 Lindbergh Drive #200H, perched right on the southwest corner of the Addison Airport runway. The transition from the bustling park to this tucked-away spot was like stepping into a VIP lounge. The crowd thinned, the runway lights glimmered, and the anticipation built as we settled in for the grand finale.

From this vantage point, the fireworks felt close enough to touch. Each burst lit up the night sky, reflecting off the wings of nearby planes and casting a glow over our small group. The sound was thunderous, the colors vivid, and the experience—shared with Autumn and Colton—was unforgettable. It was a reminder that sometimes, the best moments happen when you find your own little corner of the world to enjoy them.
